A Marathon of Girls

I'm currently in my kitchen, watching Hot Chocolate to see if I have to watch Hot Chocolate, if that makes any sense.

The idea being: I'm going to watch all of the Girl / Chocolate films today before tonight's Pretty Sweet premiere at the Logan Theater. So if anyone wants to stop by my place at any point, please feel free. And if anyone wants to try and convince Dan to join us at the premiere, despite his misgivings, please go for it. So far I've tried emasculating humor, snide commentary, and low-grade but steady peer pressure of the classical variety.

Maybe 10% of the amazing spots I saw in Colombia. The last one, in Bogota, is hard to make out (I was driving by in a taxi, late for a talk) but it's amazing. The little handicapped ramp is almost perfectly positioned one could use as a bump to ollie into the 2 foot wide quarter pipe behind the bushes. What?

Sun Times.

Some boys poured some concrete. Some boys and girls skated the concrete. Some random guy in a Range Rover got out and did a backside stall on the concrete and then drove off. Is this redundant?Anywho, Ryan told us it happened to be Eric Murphy after he drove off. Remember this skate nerds? The sun dropped and we left.

New spot, already famous.

We made our way toward Depaul for a new spot some boys told us about. Well, it has slick benches and it's a buster free spot. Did I mention new blacktop? Dig your old wheels out of the garage kids cause your new birthday Spitfires will look like your uncle changed his oil on his motorcycle and couldn't find a rag. Josh Kalis was also there too. Boom.
